Hi Karl,
Thanks for your message, and it's great to hear you're a fan of the watch! If you're wearing the watch throughout the day, then you should not need to wind it up again the next day. If you are finding that it's not holding a sufficient power reserve, please let us know, and we will be happy to either repair or replace the unit.
As with all automatic watches, they do not have a battery, and as such, you will need to manually wind it from time to time to 'initiate' the watch if it hasn't been worn for a while. But if you wear it consistently (daily), you shouldn't need to wind it often, as it will charge itself via an oscillating rotor at the rear.
Please reach out to the customer service team via our live chat feature, and we'll be happy to assist.
Kind regards.
The Ralph Christian Team.
